He suggested an OMRON, so that's what I got. Fifty bucks, but really easy to use. He also told me to get a large cuff, which I took as a compliment on my biceps - ha! I'm keeping a BP diary until my next visit, and in the meantime I'll be exercising and knocking off the junk food. 8-)Marchelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11201825708442679157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8371572.post-38367155013147587152015-02-03T02:47:52.304-08:002015-02-03T02:47:52.304-08:00My Boyfriend?! err am I reading the wrong blog I t...My Boyfriend?! err am I reading the wrong blog I thought you'd left him at the airport.......Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8371572.post-61400859586134089692015-01-30T06:39:27.293-08:002015-01-30T06:39:27.293-08:00Hope your illness is not any of the horrid things ...Hope your illness is not any of the horrid things you mention. It always seems to be (forgive me for being blunt!) that the Americans do go a bit over the top though, and see a lot of ghosts in daylight - in lots of ways, not just medically. If it isn't any of those horrid things, look to the gut. Almost everything starts in the gut. Be good to yourself, in whatever ways you can, and let others be good to you too. Your night and day and the days before that do sound horrible; I wish for you a quick resolution of all of this. Sending you support, concern, and love, and thinking oranges, a turquoise blanket, and dogs, are all a lovely way to spend an evening comforting yourself. (The picture you paint reminds me of the opening lines of Stevens' Sunday Morning. "Complacencies of the peignoir and late coffee and oranges in a sunny chair." It is an image I have always loved. This is your late-night version.) xo.Katherine C. Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08834591103511225376noreply@blogger.com
