In the spring the woods are full of bluebells. When I'm homesick, I always dream of here.Katenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8371572.post-69328869730413173692011-06-08T07:03:48.521-07:002011-06-08T07:03:48.521-07:00@LPC -- It has a catchy ring to it.

Our last posting, which we left to come to Asia, was to RAF Halton, and we lived just outside Wendover. From our house we could walk along the disused canal (a haven for wildlife), through Wendover itself and up onto Coombe Hill. We did this often, every weekend and many Summer evenings. The walk and the view never failed to take my breath away, and your description made me quite emotional. The air here in tropical Brunei is always heavy and humid - how I miss the fresh Summer breezes of England... sigh. We'll be back in the UK for good next year.

Many thanks for sharing your day.Normhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17121127059915743044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8371572.post-69235376022130391732011-06-07T20:28:41.575-07:002011-06-07T20:28:41.575-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Wally Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05992375461165449990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8371572.post-45679620211732987782011-06-07T20:27:42.426-07:002011-06-07T20:27:42.426-07:00That's a wonderful place to beThat's a wonderful place to beWally Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05992375461165449990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8371572.post-28014516348636207452011-06-07T16:19:04.820-07:002011-06-07T16:19:04.820-07:00In an odd, useless, coincidence, my father's f...In an odd, useless, coincidence, my father's family home in New Jersey was called "Wendover."
