Guide Ponies


I missed this excellent piece in the NY Times Magazine on using animals other than dogs for seeing-eye assistance. Apparently miniature horses are particularly adept at this.

    I saw that, too. So interesting. Apparently they're less difficult - no chasing squirrels and such...!

    I loved the picture of the woman in line at Staples with her pony. I can't imagine what happens with that flight instinct!
