Hot Cross Bun
Dear Reader,
If you know where to find a proper English hot cross bun in Southern California, please do let me know. I am a-hop with anticipation, mouth watering at the ready.
So wishing you luck in your quest. I don't suppose Waitrose delivers internationally (definite missed marketing opportunity). Hot cross buns are such things of wonder that I don't really understand why we must save them for Easter. All year round I say.
Still laughing from your tweet about your dalmation and the hiccups and the disastrous results. The awful thing is I am now longing for my dogs to get hiccups so I can say boo to them just to see what happens. I really must stop this and concentrate on doing some work. Tania
Dear Readers! My quest for hot cross buns ended happily. The lovely Lucy brought me some from Waitrose, in her hand luggage on Virgin! I am a spoiled girl indeed!
Strangely - Il Fornaio sells them for a few days.
