Obama & his young mother
The New York Times magazine has an excellent piece on Stanley Ann Dunham, Barack Obama's mother, and her time spent in Indonesia. The accompanying picture of the future President dressed as a pirate almost makes me weep.
She is so young. He is so open. So much awaits. We haven't figured out yet in this world to nurture all of this, and share it. I know what you mean about weeping.
