Max Tinglof: A Celebration of Life

A family we know -- great, kind, excellent people -- lost their son tragically in a car accident two weeks ago.  The following heartbreaking video is a celebration of his life.

Sending out love and prayers and sunlight to the Tinglof family.

  1. Heartwrenching...
There is no solace when a tragic death of a child occurs.
I often think of this poem to try to overcome grief:
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
    poet Mary Frye
