From Our man in DaNang

Sorry I have not been able to write for the past two days. The 100 mile daywas fantastic. We went over a big mountain pass and into a village just past Danang. Yesterday part of the big storm that has been threatening to come on shore finally did. It rained very heavily all day yesterday, so we skipped riding. We did a five hour transfer in the van across the country side. It continues to be fascinating to see the country life here. We are at another hotel resort now on the beach and are leaving this morning for another 100 mile or so day. The food has been fantastic, though several of us are craving a hamburger. I may have one tonight and skip the fish sauce.
