Tony Hart, the creative whizz behind the Vision On gallery & Morph the plasticine man, has died, aged 83. A dorky, strangely beautiful children's program which introduced us to the wonderful art of pretend sign language (they didn't pretend; we did), spawned the chap who went on to create Wallace & Gromit. Hart always seemed to be a gentle, kind man, someone you'd be happy to be left alone with as an 8-year-old child.
