Muriel Spark speaks



Good morning and a very happy Friday to everyone.

Thanks to Maud Newton, whose book blog is the best there is, for finding this BBC Archive -- In Their Own words, old tv interviews with remarkable modern writers. This one with Muriel Spark is utterly delightful. I'm sorry I can't embed it. A rather good Guardian interview from 2009 is here.
