Jane Eyre


I want to say something smug like "Miss Whistle recommends..." -- do go see this movie if you possibly can (not that the 1840s were the best era for hairdos).  Try to restrain your muffled sobs in the theatre.  I just about managed.  The film is wonderful.

    Loved Mia in 'The kids are alright' and 'Alice'. She has a wonderful crooked smile and a sort of centredness about her that really engages me. Looking forward to 'Jane'!
