How to help in China

This email from my friend Marta arrived this morning and I think it's worth sharing:
Dear friends---Whenever I feel helpless about a world disaster I look for some way to help. With China so far away I am afraid the best thing we can do is send funds. Two organizations do a great job. You can go to Contributions @ Caring for China.org or World Vision. The Caring for China website looks less slick but I am assured that it is a terrific organization. If your children are feeling bad encourage them to give a small donation. It will help teach that we need not feel powerless in the face of world problems. We can always find some way to help. marta
