I am an Englishwoman living in Los Angeles. I work in the entertainment industry, in pr, and I write and blog from my house in Laurel Canyon where I live with my daughter who is a senior in high school and my three dogs.
I grew up in the Chiltern Hills with a Norwegian mother and an English father whose story is a bit like "The Sound of Music" in a tone deaf kind of way.
I am obsessed with Lou Reed, James Salter, the lives of bees, white horses, oak trees, maps, Downton Abbey and sordid domestic dramas.
My favorite place in the world is a little island in the Oslo fjord: Tjome.
