This is how I get my 14 year old daughter to eat breakfast before school in the morning when she's woken up late and has about three minutes to get out of the house:
1 banana
1 peach
3-4 frozen strawberries (or frozen mango, papaya, blueberries, raspberries)
3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup pineapple juice
2 level scoops Aria women's protein powder*
1 tsp honey (optional, but tastes yummy)
Throw all ingredients in blender and whizz up.
* I use soy protein powder because she's a bit lactose-intolerant. Yogurt is also excellent and I love Total 2%. Quite good to plop a load of protein in there if you're afraid they might miss lunch, plus good calcium for bones, teeth, hair.

That sounds delicious! What time should I be over at your house tomorrow morning to partake in that. What a brilliant idea and what a splendid mother you are. xC
Yum! Smoothies are a great idea for busy mornings. I use vanilla soy milk and juice, as I don't like a lot of dairy, and it's surprisingly good!
