Rather wish we had Thanksgiving in dear old Scotland. I might cook something special in thanks for the lochs and the glens. AND you have quoted me on the side of your blog, I am overcome with pride. Makes me laugh it was about trees and dogs. xxx
I love sage. I can't believe that I once used to dislike it as soapy. I had never eaten pumpkin until I was 22 and lived in the mid-West. Turnip and swede, yes, but pumpkin did not figure in Scottish greengrocers
