Rest in Peace, Ronni

I just learned the astoundingly sad news that veteran publicist, Ronni Chasen, was murdered last night, in her car, in Beverly Hills, on the way home from a movie premiere.  The whole town is reeling. She was one of the good ones in a very, very hard business -- feisty, funny, smart, dignified, someone who'd go to the wall for her clients while always maintaining her elegance and composure. She was never anything but lovely and kind to me.  Hollywood will be a very different place without her. Sending out prayers to her family & loved ones on this tragic day.

An appreciation by Pete Hammond here.
The Variety story is here.
Hollywood remembers Ronni Chasen here.

So horribly tragic and completely unfathomable. Why? Who? And on Sunset and Whittier?? It's beyond all comprehension. My heart goes out to all who knew her.

I heard about it this morning and immediately thought of you. I hope you are safe. Losing a friend is never easy, but in such a senseless and tragic way.
Please take care.
