The Griffith Observatory

At the Griffith Observatory this evening for the total lunar eclipse; the images were beamed in via ustream from Chile due to the rainclouds blotting out the celestial wonders in the Los Angeles skies, but people came by the thousands, with raincoats, umbrellas and plenty of pot.

the griffith park observatory is one of my favorite spots in los angeles, especially at night. i preferred the inside before the remodel, but the jewelry encrusted hallway is beautiful.

I wish I could have seen the lunar eclipse. There must be amazing views of it from the observatory.
