Images from Kyoto (via the Maharishi)

I'm sorry I can't reproduce these photographs in full size. They took my breath away. The Maharishi shoots with a very smart Leica camera and the difference between these photographs and my point-and-shoot are remarkable.

Remember, one day everything was green and the next, it was covered in a magical layer of snow.

ADORE these, especially the last one. The thought of a magnificent Leica makes me sigh. I have been slightly obsessed with them ever since I discovered they were the camera of choice of all those Magnum boys - Capa, Cartier-Bresson etc. Also, I think Lee Miller, but am not so sure about that. x
