I just posted this on Anne Thompson's blog which discusses the Tom Cruise Scientology video which was posted on Gawker AGAIN. It's probably not the right forum for it. Anne Thompson is certainly not after Cruise, but I am sick, at this point, of the persecution of Scientologists. Really, enough already:
It's all jolly good fun, yes, but whatever happened to religious tolerance? We're so careful and sensitive to the differences between us in this great melting pot country of ours, except for when it comes to Scientology. I for one am BORED by the jokes. As a good friend just pointed out to me, Tom Cruise is not a child molester, nor has he murdered anyone as far as we know, so how about just giving him a break? Actually, how about giving all the Scientologists a break while we're at it?
