Email from Jumby received 3/30

Do you know how wonderful it is to have a beloved who doesn't just talk about this stuff?

Hi Baby,

I was reading about the baby seal hunt that began in Canada this week - horrible and such a waste. Then I found this Humane Society site and read about their campaign to get grocers to stop carrying Canadian seafood. I wrote this letter to Fresh and Easy:

Hello,
First let me say that our whole family are enormous fans of Fresh and Easy. We started shopping in Eagle Rock and then migrated to the Hollywood store, which is about 1 mile from our house, as soon as it opened. Our kitchen is now filled with your stuff.
I am writing today to ask you to consider joining the grocer ban on Canadian seafood in order to put pressure on Canada to stop the annual baby seal hunt. Trader Joe's has already committed to a reduction in Canadian seafood as part of this campaign and it would seem reasonable that Fresh and Easy should at least match their commitment. You can find out a great deal more about it here.

Finally, let me say that I am just a customer and fan of your store and thought this was a good idea for you to consider. I am in no way officially (paid or unpaid) associated with the organization that is promoting thiscampaign. I, like most people, just like seals - babies or otherwise.

I hope you will seriously consider joining this campaign.

Sincerely,

You should get people to do something similar.
