Q

Just bought tons of oranges, fava beans, strawberries, black apricots, French feta, real Arabic bread, mint, lemon basil, savory, tarragon, dill, parsley at the wonderful Q Market in Van Nuys. It's a Persian market, with a meat section divided into Halal & Kosher (and a very impressive selection of lamb testicles), a huge vegetable and fruit section (the strawberries are tiny and smell divine), a bread section with every kind of sweet bread and Middle Eastern loaf you can imagine. I found Greek acacia honey, proper yogurt, a pretty metal colander, pomegranate juice, cardamom tea. So much more interesting that Ralphs or Whole Foods. Try it out:
