J just emailed me this picture, taken this summer, after I'd taken the dogs to the beach. Briar (who died in July) has tar in her toes which I'm washing out with dish soap.
Sorry for your loss. Just found you through my wonderful Haphazard Girl - Eddie. I have to say I loved your Thanksgiving tips and wish I'd seen them before the holiday. Maybe I'll link to it anyway. I'm a food writer and dispense much the same advice annually.
