This is Apple Charlotte, co-owned by our friend Marcus, trained by Henry Cecil, who's been invited to run in the American Oaks today. Despite the Maharishi's complaining, he's putting on a suit & I've pulled out a red and white silk dress and we're off to Hollywood Park for lunch. Another contender is Mrs. Kipling, owned by Bobby Flay and trained by the lovely Neil Drysdale. A race that's all about puddings is my kind of race.
