The view from here towards Horseshoe Canyon reminds me of the Moomin Woods. I am tucked in a duvet in a chair on the wet deck (wood still soaked though 36 hours since rain) with a cup of tea, Graham Greene's The Comedians and a doggy foot warmer. When I sleep outside I feel as peaceful as I can ever imagine, listenig to the water fall, the crowsand the hawks, and the pungent smell of damp eucalyptus. I highly recommend an afternoon nap outside as pick-me-up, a restorative tonic as Greene would say.
