Rosie Blair

 I received a card in the post today from a friend in England, with an illustration of the Gullane Gull (a golfer, of course) by Rosie Blair, the talented British artist and illustrator.  It's lovely, whimsical work. You can find out more about her work here.

Which reminded me of the beautiful drawing Rosie did of my mother's dog.  I've never known an artist to quite capture the personality and the sense of humor of her animal subjects in the way she does. As any dog owner knows, dogs can be very, very funny.
