Ah, lovely, Bumble. Raymond Carver has been a favorite of mine since before his death for the spare beauty of his short stories and poetry. He had a tragic life that ended well. Though he was young when he died, by the end of his life he had found sobriety, love, and I suspect finally, a quieted soul. Late Fragment is one of my favorite poems; comforting and true.
