Houseboat

I'm besotted with Houseboat, the 1958 Melville Shavelson film starring Cary Grant and Sophia Loren. The fact that it is my parents' story, without the boat, and without the Italian conductor, might have rather a lot to do with it. (Also, my mother does not sing "Presto Presto" though not for lack of trying.)

It's available to rent on iTunes. And perfect for a Sunday night.

Good night, dear ones. Sleep tight.

And I believe, this is where Cary Grant fell in love with Sophia Loren and replaced his wife, Betsy Drake as the lead, for the young hot Itallian, who would have nothing to do with him romantically!
Wonderful photos Miss Whistle!
Thank you.
