How could you not fall in love with an album called Merriweather Post Pavilion? Animal Collective is a band I discovered this afternoon on NPR while waiting in the interminably long carpool line. The child wasn't answering her mobile, gray clouds hanging overhead promised rain & I was beginning to doze off. Then this review by Will Hermes. I'm sure you know this but Merriweather Post Pavilion is the name of a Shoreline-type music venue in Maryland. Evidently the band has a fondness for the place!
