Rescue Hens

My brother's rescued battery hens are fairing well and growing feathers, despite the cold. They are laying eggs, so many eggs that he's not sure what to do with them all. Click here for a wonderful slide show of spoilt rescue hens from the Battery Hen Welfare Trust (UK).

;) lost my last hen Daisy to a fox a few days ago, 'free range' does come with hidden dangers, but they are such friendly creatures when you get to know them, very talkative.
