The progression of the sun at dusk after rain
This is what we do before supper at my mother's house: we rush madly from window to window, camera in hand, before stepping out barefoot on wet grass, trying to capture the mist rising and melting as the sun settles on it.
And then there are sausages to warm up, a salad to make, bubble & squeak, fat squat carrots with mint, some couscous.
All pictures taken with fifteen minutes of each other, before 9pm, Tuesday, August 10, 2010, in Ashridge.

..can just about taste it. Seems so far away though. 2nd from top, 3rd from bottom. Your Ma must spend ages tending her absolutely amazing garden. Breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Happy for you Bumble, know you are in your element. xx
(know Lucy and i dont get on but am sorry about the news. Sending best.) Jane. xx
