This is the view from my park bench overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There are dogs and their owners, teens having a philosophical discussion, crows ducking and diving, massive shoals(?) of pelican, cute surfer boys, old couples holding hands in hats, and one person who should be reading The Pale King, who is, instead, photographing.

I think I know this place. I think it is near where my little sister lives. I think you are fortunate to be so near the Pacific - but I'm sure you know that.
