Fire in Little Tujunga Canyon

I can smell the smoke outside my door, but the fire is over 20 miles away, in Little Tujunga Canyon, where our horses are. Putting together fragments of information from the tv, internet and friends, I understand that 750 acres have burned in the fire which started at 2am, and that upper Middle Ranch has been evacuated (awaiting confirmation of this). Trailers & trucks are ready to take the horses to safety, should the need arise. My fingers are crossed and we're saying little prayers for the firefighters.

** Update: The horses have been evacuated to Flintridge and Camelot. Per Lisa, the fire is moving to the west, away from Middle Ranch, and the firefighters are feeling optimistic.
